COUNTY BOARD MINUTES
DECEMBER 29 & 30, 2008
The Board convened on Monday, December 29, 2008 with all members present: Boge, Pickar, Huegel, Schueth, and Mattke. The meeting was called to orders by Chairman Boge. Mail was opened and distributed. Supervisors-Elect Rick Holthaus and John Andersen were present as observers. Supervisor Schueth left the meeting at 11:05 A.M. and Supervisor Huegel left the meeting at 11:15 A.M. to attend a funeral.
Motion by Huegel, Seconded by Pickar, to approve agenda for December 29, & 30, 2008. All Ayes. Motion Carried.
Motion by Schueth, Seconded by Mattke, to approve board minutes of December 22 & 23, 2008. Roll Call. All Ayes. Motion Carried.
County Engineer Dusten Rolando met with the Board to discuss road departmental activities.
Motion by Mattke, Seconded by Huegel, to approve Chris Miller to a five-year term on the Chickasaw Planning Commission, expiring December 31, 2013. Roll Call: All Ayes. Motion Carried.
Ken Rasing met with the Board to update the jail building rewiring project and a volunteer firs responder worker compensation injury.
Motion by Pickar, Seconded by Mattke, to adjourn at 11:30 A.M. All Ayes. Motion Carried.
The Board convened on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 9:30 A.M. with all members present: Boge, Pickar, Huegel, Schueth, Mattke. The meeting was called to orders by Chairman Boge. Mail was opened and distributed. Supervisors-Elect Rick Holthaus and John Andersen were present as observers.
Board members entered into review and discussion regarding appointment of the 4th District Conservation Board member. Director Brian Moore was present.
Motion by Pickar, Seconded by Schueth, to re-appoint Mel Pacovsky, to five –year term as 4th District Conservation Board to expiring on December 13, 2013. Roll Call: All Ayes. Motion Carried.
Motion by Huegel, Seconded by Pickar, to approve employees’ vacation carryover as per listing. Roll Call. All Ayes. Motion Carried.
The board received and filed Jacksonville Township Report of Receipts and Disbursements for FY 2007-2008.
Motion by Huegel, Seconded by Schueth to adjourn at 11:45 A.M. All Ayes. Motion Carried.
