COUNTY BOARD MINUTES
NOVEMBER 23, & 24, 2009
The Board convened on Monday, November 23, 2009 at 9:30 A.M. with all members present: Holthaus, Andersen, Mattke, Boge, and Pickar. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Pickar. Mail was opened and distributed.
Motion by Holthaus, Seconded by Andersen to approve agenda for November 23, & 24, 2009. Roll Call: All Ayes. Motion Carried.
Motion by Andersen, Seconded by Mattke to approve board minutes of November 16 & 17, 2009. Roll Call: All Ayes. Motion Carried.
Jeanne Heit, Homemaker Health Agency Director met with the Board for a departmental
update and to discuss travel expense in the Homemaker Health Agency Aide Policy Book.
Motion by Boge, Seconded by Holthaus to authorize chairman to sign Homemaker Health Aide Policy Book with no changes. Roll Call: All Ayes. Motion Carried.
County Engineer Dusten Rolando met with the Board to discuss road departmental activities. Topics included safety slope entrance, north of Nashua; entrance permits; crossroads pipes at various areas, closed well, conservation property; maintenance and repairs of vehicles, sign repairs; asphalt patching; spot rock various areas, preliminary design-Groves bridge, etc. Also discussed the permit for Vern Laures to place septic line through South Linn Avenue.
Motion by Boge, Seconded by Andersen to approve and authorize Chairman signature on permit for Vern Laures to place septic line on Chickasaw County right of way ½ miles from New Hampton through South Linn Avenue. Roll Call: All Ayes. Motion Carried.
Motion by Boge, Seconded by Andersen to adjourn at Noon. Roll Call: All Ayes. Motion Carried.
The Board convened on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 9:30 A.M. with the following members present: Mattke, Holthaus, Andersen, Boge, and Pickar. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Pickar. Mail was opened and distributed.
Doug Welton, Data Processing Manager met with the Board for an update on the Imaging Software Program.
Allowed Claims.
The Board received and placed on file Howard R. Green 2009 Annual Water Quality Report of the Chickasaw County closed landfill site.
The Board received and filed Jendro Sanitation rural recycling collection for the month of November, 2009.
Motion by Boge, Seconded by Holthaus to adjourn at 11:45 AM. Roll Call: All Ayes. Motion Carried.
