Darin Dietz met with the Board to request a tax abatement program for his newly created Harbor Ridge Subdivision.Discussion followed as to the available programs.Fred Saul, representing INRCOG is scheduled for session next week to review options.
Sheriff Marty Larsen met with the Board for approval of Federal Annual Certification.
Motion by Pickar, Seconded by Huegel, to approve Chairman Signature on Annual Federal Certification of Expenditures for fiscal year ending June 30, 2005. Roll Call: Four Ayes. Motion Carried.
CountyEngineer Dusten Rolando met with the Board to discuss road departmental activities.
Motion by Boge, Seconded by Pickar, to approve and authorize Chairman Signature on permit for Butler County REC to place buried cable in county right of way along 230th Street between Sections 22 and 27 in Dayton Township. Roll Call: Four Ayes. Motion Carried.
Motion by Huegel, Seconded by Pickar, to approve and authorize Chairman Signature on permit for Hawkeye Tri-County REC to replace three poles at the intersection of V56 and Hwy 24 East in Section 3 of Stapleton Township.Roll Call: Four Ayes. Motion Carried.
Engineer recommended purchase of 2006 Sterling truck upon bid review.
Motion by Huegel, Seconded by Boge, to approve purchase of 2006 Sterling truck Model LT-9513 at $114,540.00 from Donís Truck Sales of Fairbanks. Roll Call: Four Ayes. Motion Carried.
Dee Ann Airman, representing Rogerís Automated Entrances, Inc. met with the Board to present proposals for handicapped accessible door entrances.Proposals were presented for the Courthouse, St. JohnísSchool of Religion, New Hampton City Council Chambers, AltaVistaCommunity Center, North Washington Fire Station, CommunityServicesBuilding, Ionia City Council Chambers, NashuaCity Hall, TwinPondsNatureCenter, Utica Maintenance Shop and Lawler City Council Chambers. Polling sites owned other entities will be forwarded to them for their consideration.

Alice Bartz, General Relief Director, met with the Board to update upcoming legislative change regarding heath care reform.Applicant eligibility and medical services through state papers for limited medical services now available through County General Relief will be administered through DHS beginning July 1, 2005.
Tax suspension request for county resident was reviewed.

Possible change for fireworks permit application was tabled pending legal opinion.
Decision on service provider for LAE cost recovery reimbursement was tabled, as Board members were not ready to make the decision.
The Board received and filed IDNR Manure Management Plan for Hastings Site located in Howard with field application sites in ChickasawCounty.
