COUNTY BOARD MINUTES
NOVEMBER 22 & 23, 2010
The Board convened on Monday, November 15, 2010 with all members present: Boge, Holthaus, Mattke, Andersen, and Pickar.The meeting was called to order by Chairman Boge. Mail was opened and distributed.
Motion by Holthaus, Seconded by Andersen to approve agenda for November 22 & 23, 2010.All Ayes. Motion Carried.
Motion by Mattke, Seconded by Holthaus to approve board minutes of November 15 & 16, 2010. All Ayes. Motion Carried.
TCM/CPC/GA Director Sheila Kobliska met with the Board to discuss the FY 10 Cost Report for Targeted Case Management.
CountyEngineer Dusten Rolando met with the Board to discuss departmental activities. Topics included: maintenance and services of vehicles; maintenance of gravel roads;
Shoulder tile, entrances; started hauling rock, boulder to Twin Ponds, park will continue; removed and relayed concrete culverts south of 250thof Roanoke Avenue, poured concrete culvert area on Roanoke Avenue; will be relaying culvert on LaSalle Avenue south 110th; blading road; mowing weeds along fence lines; snow plow equipment installation, maintainers, one ways; sign repairs and closed Roanoke Avenue; cleaning brush etc from under bridges, bridge maintenance; rock gradation Boice, ROW on Windsor, survey bridge; #1540 (240th street between Quinlan Avenue) Bridge #1640 (220th Street 1.5 east of Ionia) design started; etc.
Motion by Pickar, Seconded by Andersen to adjourn the meeting at A. M.Roll Call: All Ayes. Motion Carried.

Custodian Dave Gorman met with the Board for an update on the Courthouse Tuckpointing Phase II project.Dave also discussed with the Board decorating the Courthouse for Christmas. Dave will explore other options and update the Board next week.
The Board allowed claims.
Public Health and Home Care Services Administrator Kathy Babcock met with the Board for a department update.Kathy Babcock also discussed the re-appointment of board members to the Local Board of Health.
Motion by Andersen, Seconded by Pickar to retroactively re-appoint board members Jan Feldman, Mary Jo Sabelka and Verlene Maher to the Local Board of Health.Roll Call:
All Ayes. Motion Carried.
The Board reviewed the 2011 Holiday Schedule.
Motion by Andersen, Seconded by Holthaus to approve the 2011 holiday schedule.

The Joint 28 E Chickasaw-Mitchell Targeted Case Management Board convened at via phone conference.Present at ChickasawCounty was Supervisors: John Andersen, Arnie Boge, Rick Holthaus, Virgil Pickar Jr. and Auditor Joan Knoll.Present at MichelCounty were Supervisors Bob Marreel, Joel Voaklander, Stan Walk, Auditor Lowell Tesch, and CPC/TCM Director Sheila Kobliska.
CPC/TCM Sheila Kobliska reviewed the revised FY 11 Projected Cost Report for Targeted Case Management.The revision is to change the cost per unit of services.
Motion by Stan Walk, Seconded by Virgil Pickar to approve the FY 11 revised project ion cost report for Targeted Case Management.Roll Call:ChickasawCounty: Andersen, Holthaus, Pickar and Boge. MitchellCounty: Marreel, Voaklander and Walk.Motion Carried.
CPC/TCM Sheila Kobliska also gave a departmental update and stated that she is working on getting some new members to the Case Management Advisory Board.

Supervisor Holthaus gave the Board an update on the Northeast Community Action meeting held on November 22, 2010.
The Board received and filed IDNR Manure Management Update for Willow Creek (ID# 61668) in Section 30 of Jacksonville Township located at 2245 120th Street, New Hampton, IA 50659.
